Yellowpatter offers a complete manufacturing service from design through manufacture and finishing to assembly, packaging and logistics. The in-house finishing facilities include deburring as well as mechanical and chemical surface treatment plus powder-coat painting.

Yellowpatter has a 'Grindmaster 2000' with a 900mm wide belt linisher. This, combined with the Scotchbrite second stage rollers, allows Yellowpatter to grain and deburr any component that the customer wishes. Yellowpatter also has 2 aqueous cleaning and iron phosphate pre-treatment plants that support the powder coating line.

The powder coating facility has a Thorrid in line temperature control unit and a re-circulating gas fired stoving oven, cyclonic recycling powder booth and quick change electrostatic high voltage spray guns. Recently rebuilt and fully refurbished, it is now a single level, high speed efficient facility able to handle components up to 2000x1400x800mm. The redesigned plant also has a static spray booth which is used for small batch, prototypes and one off special colour items without disrupting the high volume production line.

The increased throughput efficiency these changes have made has allowed Yellowpatter to implement the Lean Manufacturing approach to its powder coating section, and enabled a more than competitive edge in this section of its production process to be established.
